Aerosports 2010




Aero Club of India is organising an Aerosports display on 31-01-2010 at Bacchod Airstrip, Narnaul, Haryana, to mark the formal announcement of setting up of the RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL CENTRE FOR AEROSPORTS. The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Haryana and President of Aero Club of India will jointly make the statement.

RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL CENTRE FOR AEROSPORTS will be of national character and its aims and objectives will be to provide a platform at economic cost to the people particularly the youngsters to understand aviation science and to engage themselves in aviation activities of adventurous nature. This national centre will be developed further to an international level, and India’s participation in world Aerosports events – which has been singularly absent so far – will be facilitated. The aim will also be to provide the facilities for the underprivileged at less than the economic cost, suitably compensated by higher cost recovery from affordable classes who will be interested in Aerosports as a hobby.

b. Exhibition of Civil Aviation & Aerosports activities
c. Sports parachuting Display using ACI Cessna 172R aircraft
d. Skydiving Display from Cessna 172R / Beechcraft Baron G58 aircraft
e. Parasailing Display
f. Ballooning Display
g. Aeromodelling Display
h. Motorgliding Display
